Inchcape Retail and BCA are celebrating a decade in partnership with a programme of special sales featuring spot prizes and incentives.

Inchcape Retail has been remarketing stock through BCA since 1994, averaging 10,000 units annually.

BCA’s national account manager Simon Young said: ‘Inchcape Retail was one of the first of our dealer customers to introduce an all-auction policy on part exchange vehicles and we are very proud to have sold stock for them over the past 10 years.

They consistently record high-conversion rates - averaging nearly 90% in 2004 - thanks to a realistic valuation policy that is in touch with market sentiment. Every sale is attended by an auction representative who will make instant decisions on provisional bids, allowing sales to flow and building confidence in the buyers.’

Inchcape Retail sales offer up to 150 vehicles at BCA Blackbushe and around 50 vehicles at other locations. Every vehicle is pre-sale prepared to an agreed standard by BCA Smart Prepared. Cliff Deller, who heads up Inchcape Retail’s used car programme, said: ‘We will continue to work together to provide a swift and profitable service to the dealerships within Inchcape Retail.’
