Charles Hurst Land Rover in Belfast made it a special occasion for its first Discovery 3 customer by arranging for the vehicle to be delivered last week by helicopter.

RAF flight lieutenant Andy Cornes, of 230 ‘Tiger’ Squadron, RAF Aldergrove, says: “The people at Lookers plc, which owns the Charles Hurst dealership in Belfast, approached us with this idea, and we were more than happy to support local business and the community with an exciting event like this.”

The dealership covered all costs and will make a donation to the RAF’s chosen charity, in exchange for the RAF Puma dropping off the Discovery at the Belfast base of Tommy Rogers, managing director of TR Shipping in Northern Ireland.
