This year it expects turnover to rise another 20% to £6m. Already strong in the commercial vehicle garage equipment market, within five years the company aims to be in the same position in car garage equipment.
The company puts its success down to its commitment to customer support. It now has 15 field engineers and offers nationwide coverage.
“If one of our customers has a problem, we fix it and worry about the cost afterwards,” says Gus Gregory, managing director of MAHA UK. “Everything goes wrong sometimes, the difference is whether or not you fix it.”
For the second year running MAHA UK won an internal ‘Distributor of the Year’ award, beating off other MAHA distributors from around the world.
MAHA UK was established in 1997, moved to purpose built warehouse premises in Wisbech, Cambridgeshire, in 2000 and now employs 25 people.
