Land Rover unions accept revised deal

Trade union members have accepted a revised offer from Land Rover, by 4,326 votes in favour and 2,379 against. The dispute between Land Rover management and workers had resulted in two one-day strikes, an overtime ban and the suspension of working time arrangements.

Eric McDonald, TGWU Regional Industrial Organiser, said: "The company have made a substantial change in the Business Competitive Statement and its implications.” There is no reported increase in the company's 6.5% pay offer spread over two years.
