Surrey-based Hyundai retailer Neil White will be putting his products to the test next month when he sets off on a 25,000-mile trek to raise £250,000 for charity.

The owner of TW White, whose franchises include one Hyundai showroom in Effingham and four Mazda dealerships, will leave London in a 4x4 Hyundai Terracan 2.9-litre CRTD on a route through 25 countries, including Romania, India and Cambodia, finishing in Australia in December. His student son, Alistair, will navigate.

The money raised will go to SOS Children’s Villages, a charity providing housing and support for children orphaned or abandoned by war or famine. It has operations in many of the countries included in White’s route.
