Hyundai experienced a sales increase of 21% for the period January till June 2004. Cumulative sales reached 175,700 units.
"The rapidly improving quality of Hyundai products as well as the stronger localization of their appeal factors such as design and packaging, are providing the momentum for continuous sales gains", says Kwang Heum Um, president Hyundai Motor Europe.
Best sellers for the month of June were again, the Getz with cumulative sales of 57,000 units and the Santa Fe with 23,000 units (Jan. - June period). Current market share across Europe, including the new member countries, balances at around 2%.
