Seat will continue its "move up a class" offer on selected Ibiza, Leon, Toledo and Alhambra models until the end of the year. The sales incentive sees higher specced cars offered for no price increase.

Buyers of an Ibiza 1.2 S will have their order automatically upgraded to an Ibiza 1.2 SX, saving £500 and gaining extra equipment: climate control, alloy wheels, front fog lights and SX trim.

The upgrade is also included with the Toledo, which moves the 1.9 TDi SE with 108bhp into the faster Toledo TDi SE 128bhp, with sports suspension, 6-speed gearbox and a saving of £500.

Moving “up a class” in Seat’s 5-door sports hatch means swapping a Leon 1.6 S for a Leon 1.6 SX.

This means saving £1000 on the cost of the SX and gaining climate control, traction control, electric windows, special alloys, alarm, sports Seats and SX interior trim.

The Alhambra 1.9 TDi becomes the 1.9 TDi SX which makes a saving of over £1,000. SX specification also includes two integrated child seats, an extra 113bhp, cruise control and trays on the front seat backs.

Seat’s "move up a class" offer runs until December 31, 2004. Prices include VAT, delivery, plates, first registration fee, 12 months’ road fund licence, 3 years’ warranty and 5 years’ Seat Assistance including breakdown cover in Europe.
