Citroen has revealed pictures of the revised C5 before the car makes its public debut at next month’s Paris Motor Show.

As well as significant styling changes at both the front and rear ends, the car will feature Citroen’s new lane departure warning system that alert drivers if they inadvertently drift across lanes, as well as xenon headlamps with a directional function linked to the steering.

Laminated side glass improves noise levels and security, while new front and rear parking sensors provide audible and visual warnings. The C5 will be available with seven airbags – including one for the driver’s knees – as well as a speed limiter.

The car will come with petrol engines ranging from 117bhp to 210bhp, as well as the latest 110bhp and 138bhp HDi common rail diesels.
