Fiat Auto UK chooses Ion to catalyse conversion

Ion Group, the marketing contact specialist, has been appointed to handle all UK sales lead management for Fiat Auto UK.

Fiat Auto UK, part of the Fiat Group, manages UK sales and marketing and the dealer network for the Fiat, Alfa Romeo and Fiat Commercial Vehicles marques.

Ion Group will handle all sales leads received over a variety of different media – currently phone, mail, e-mail, iTV and SMS.

Ion takes responsibility for delivering increased effectiveness with which leads are managed through to sales closure, supporting the dealer network with direct prospect contact and intelligence gathering.

The company’s Fiat Auto UK team of 21 staff expects to be managing around 200,000 phone calls, 25,000 mail enquiries, 30,000 internet customer requests, and over 10,000 email requests over the first year of operation.
