London-based Euro Car Parts has launched a new support programme to help repairers satisfy demand for air conditioning servicing and repair.

The market is currently worth £30m, with experts predicting next year will see more than 2m systems requiring servicing.

In a break from its traditional parts supply business, Euro Car Parts provides equipment as well as parts in the package. Training is free to repairers who sign up to receive parts, or technicians can ‘try before they buy’ for a fee of £198, which is refunded if they decide to continue with the programme. Training takes place in all the major cities in Britain. In-house training is offered for larger companies.

Gary Phillips, Euro Car Parts’ air conditioning technical manager, says: “In our experience, once a workshop has the ability to service and repair air conditioning systems its customer base will continue to grow.”
