Online used car marketer Fish4Cars is breaking into the new car market through an agreement with discounted new car database Broadspeed to offer around 4,500 models at any one time.

The website will take enquiries and orders for 2,000 subscribed main dealers nationally who, Fish4Cars claim, are able to offer savings of up to 35% off the list price through negotiating volume discounts. All cars will be UK-sourced and will have the full manufacturer’s warranty.

Once a customer has confirmed an order with the selling dealer, Broadspeed and Fish4Cars invoice the purchaser for £150.

Director Barry Slatter says the decision was made to enter the new car market because of the narrowing price gap between new and used vehicles.
