TV campaign for Perfect Partner

Auto Trader this month launched a TV marketing initiative for its Perfect Partner campaign, which will be followed by a trade-only competition next month where one trader will win a £10,000 holiday in New York.

Dealers will be invited to send in a photograph of themselves wearing a free Auto Trader T-shirt distributed with Glass’s Guide or from the company’s 13 regional centres. The entrant with the most amusing and innovative photo will win the holiday to New York.

  • Subaru UK is the latest manufacturer to sign up with AutoTrader to promote its approved used vehicles via its website. Following the launch of a pilot in March, one third of the importer’s network of 90 dealerships has joined the scheme. It enables them to market their ‘Proven’ stock online at, which distinguishes their vehicles from other traders’ and private sellers’ vehicles by means of a Subaru logo and link to a pop-up which explains the benefits of buying from the Proven scheme, such as 12-month’s warranty and breakdown cover and verified history and mileage.
