Nissan GB is launching a website next month to take deposits for the 350Z roadster prior to its arrival in UK showrooms next March.

The importer has finally been given the green light by Japan to introduce the drop-top to Britain, almost a year after it went on sale in the US. The roadster, which will be imported in limited numbers, is likely to create huge demand – Nissan still has a five-month waiting list for the 350Z coupe which first entered showrooms in March with an allocation of 2,200 units a year.

Engineers in Cranfield have been making modifications to the roadster’s suspension and exhaust system for the UK market. Prices will be announced at the Paris Motor Show later this month.
