Vauxhall targets 10% growth in trade club

Vauxhall is aiming at a 10% increase in its Trade Club customers in 2005.

The manufacturer’s aftermarket parts programme currently sells parts to some 21,000 independent garages each month and is looking to add a further 2,000 regular customers.

The UK Vauxhall vehicle parc now exceeds 4.5m cars and vans. Total Trade Club membership now stands at around 58,000 accounts and expansion is expected both through more direct marketing and improved database management by Vauxhall dealers’ parts sales departments. Trade Club added six new product groups last year.
