BMW Group achieved record UK sales in 2004 with over 145,000 BMW and Mini vehicle registrations, an increase of 9% compared to 2003.

The BMW brand accounted for 102,200 registrations, while Mini recorded 43,660 registrations, its best annual sales performance since the vehicle’s UK launch in July 2001 and 8% higher than in 2003.

Combined, the BMW and Mini brands accounted for 5.68% of the total UK market in 2004 The BMW Group has also achieved a 9.4% growth in world sales, delivering 1,208,724 vehicles in 2004.
