Dealers are being advised that all calls to the General Insurance Standards Council will be re-directed to the Financial Services Authority and the Financial Ombudsman Service, as of today.

GISC’s website will also display the appropriate links to the relevant organisations.

GISC’s Dispute Resolution Facility will not accept new enquiries, but will continue to operate for a short period of time after FSA regulations begin, to see through any outstanding queries.

The telephone and website arrangements will be in place until the beginning pf 2006.
