A service designed to help dealers identify where their marketing spend is working best has been launched by Portfolio Europe.

E-Business Centre allows dealers to look at their stock pricing in the context of highest, lowest and average retail and trade prices across their franchised network.

It also enables franchises to track geographically from where customers are logging into their websites to view stock.

Portfolio believes this information will allow dealers to adjust prices and stock mix and also to implement a targeted and effective marketing campaign.

“E-Business Centre gives dealers the confidence to price vehicles appropriately and source stock safe in the knowledge that these measures can make for an attractive forecourt to the retail buyer,” says Mike Pilkington, managing director of Portfolio Europe. “Dealers can ill afford to be even slightly out of step on price or stock profile.”

The system acts by benchmarking the effectiveness of different advertising media in terms of sales generated from all sources.
