Kia has surpassed its total 2004 sales figures of 30,006, reaching 33,514 units so far this year.

The budget brand grew 25% in a market which is down 4% on last year. Kia said it was on track to reach its 45,000 unit target for the full year.

Paul Williams, managing director, Kia Motors UK said: "With a target of 100,000 units in 2010, we can’t afford to slow down. Next year Kia will launch four completely redesigned products as well as a new European factory which will introduce Kia’s next generation product line-up."
