Saab says there are over 1,350 enhancements over the previous model, with a refreshed interior, upgraded chassis and a choice of all-turbo engine options. This includes the BioPower variant.
On-the-road prices range from £21,051 for the 9-5 2.0t (150bhp) Linear saloon, up to £29,536 for the new 260bhp 9-5 Aero estate.
The revised 9-5 range features Linear, Linear Sport, Vector and Vector Sport trims available in both saloon and versatile estate body styles.
A new 150bhp Euro IV 1.9 TiD turbo diesel engine and a joining the 9-5 range, priced from £21,505.
New engines include a 150bhp Euro IV 1.9 TiD turbo diesel, priced from £21,505 and an E85 bioethanol-powered 180bhp 2.0t also joins the line-up, costing £600 more than regular petrol 9-5 2.0t.
