ATS Euromaster has re-opened its truck tyre service in nine centres across Britain and is planning to set up more this year.

The Birmingham-based fast-fit specialist, a subsidiary of Michelin, amalgamated its dedicated truck centres with its car centres in 2001. But the company has since conceded truck customers require specific centres.

“The increased investment in distribution of our truck facilities is testament to the demand from commercial vehicle drivers and their fleet managers across the country,” says Phil Payne, national sales director, Truck.

The new facilities – Driffield, Coventry, Westhoughton, Redditch, Ashford, Huddersfield, Lymington and two in London – offer large truck fitting bays, service vehicles providing 24 hour mobile support every day of the year, and specially trained fitting staff.

“With a steady programme to continue the reintroduction of truck services to our centres, ATS Euromaster is well positioned to provide a fast, convenient and comprehensive service which will enhance our reputation for quality workmanship and high value for money,” says Payne.

Four more centres are scheduled to open – Bedford, Ipswich, Halesowen and Aldridge – in 2005 and the company has plans for further sites in the future.
