Renault is presenting a new 2005 model Laguna at the Amsterdam Motor Show this month, offering two body styles, Hatch and Sport Tourer.

Six levels of trim are available: Expression, Privilege and Initiale, Extreme, Dynamique and GT.

Available to order prior to its showroom debut on March 18, prices for the new Laguna start with the Hatch 2.0 16V Expression at £15,775 on the road and the Sport Tourer 2.0 16V Expression at £16,775.

Renault will also be including a GT version fitted with a new 205bhp turbo petrol engine, which will reach 0-62mph in 7.2 seconds and has a top speed of 146mph.

The petrol engine range starts with the 135hp 2.0 16V ( the 1.8 from the previous range is dropped), the 2.0 Turbo 165 is now upgraded to 170bhp and the 3.0 V6 24V with 210bhp and a five speed proactive automatic transmission remains available on the range–topping Initiale.

The 1.9 dCi 120 is now available in a Euro IV emission version with a power upgrade to 130bhp and a particle filter (FAP) fitted to the exhaust.

The entry-level 1.9 dCi 90 Euro IV is now upgraded to 95bhp and the fourth dCi engine remains the 2.2 dCi 150 which can be had with a five speed proactive automatic transmission.
