AP Diesels will be exhibiting the CPT 2000 Common Rail Injector Test Bench for the first time in the UK.
This machine is a standalone test bench that allows independent garages and workshops to diagnose, test and repair common rail injectors in a way that previously was only possible for a specialist diesel workshop.
The bench measures the fuel flow and back leak (the excess fuel) through each injector and can control rail pressure and the RPM of the high-pressure pump to allow for precise measurement of the opening pressure through the nozzle.
By simply changing one plug it is possible to test all makes of injector including Bosch, Delphi, Denso and Siemens making it suitable for all makes of diesel vehicle – and therefore ideal for independent and multi-marque service garages.
