AP Diesels

AP Diesels will be exhibiting the CPT 2000 Common Rail Injector Test Bench for the first time in the UK.

This machine is a standalone test bench that allows independent garages and workshops to diagnose, test and repair common rail injectors in a way that previously was only possible for a specialist diesel workshop.

The bench measures the fuel flow and back leak (the excess fuel) through each injector and can control rail pressure and the RPM of the high-pressure pump to allow for precise measurement of the opening pressure through the nozzle.

By simply changing one plug it is possible to test all makes of injector including Bosch, Delphi, Denso and Siemens making it suitable for all makes of diesel vehicle – and therefore ideal for independent and multi-marque service garages.

Apaseal Ltd

Apaseal will be exhibiting the latest equipment in tyre and wheel maintenance, including the new range of lead free balance weights together with the EVA bead breaker Bag It and the latest in wheel alignment range.

Automotive Supplies Direct

Automotive Supplies Direct will be exhibiting a pre-fabricated steel service pit together with other workshop equipment demonstrating its ability in the design and installation of car and commercial vehicle workshops.

The company competitively sources the right equipment to suit workshop needs from vehicle lifts and MOT equipment to commercial vehicle brake testers.

Bosch

Bosch will host the largest stand at this year’s ATS as it promotes its UK aftermarket operation of diagnostics, technical expertise and spare parts.

The stand will show visitors its products and services through interactive displays and short illustrative practical technical training sessions. The company will also be previewing a new piece of garage equipment at the show – the FSA 450, and one will feature in a free prize draw.

Bosch will also be demonstrating its entire diagnostic offering on the stand, with a comprehensive display of diagnostic testers for fault-finding, engine analysis and system repairs.

The Bosch Car Service (BCS) network of independent workshops will also have a presence at the show to demonstrate how it can offer garages increased growth and profit opportunities.

Boston Garage Equipment

Boston has a much enlarged stand at this year’s show where it will display a full automated test lane, including the new PC brake tester and play detector designed to meet one man test requirements.

A standard feature of Boston four-post lifts that will be of particular interest is the recesses for play detectors which are now being introduced. In addition to these items the company is displaying a suspension tester and side-slip meter that may enter the MoT test arena in the future but remain optional for the time being. 

Also on display will be emission equipment with Bluetooth connectivity, from which braketester operation is also possible; the 3.2-tonne hydraulic two-poster with patented scissor lift on all arms; and forthcoming handheld diagnostics.

Car-O-Liner

The Car-O-Liner stand will feature straightening and welding equipment, including ranges from sister company Josam. The B73 light commercial kit will be demonstrated in conjunction with the Mk VI Bench and BenchRack drive-on universal system.

Also on the stand is Speed, which Car-O-Liner says repairs light accident damage and cosmetic repairs quickly and cost effectively. On the welding side, the company will feature the CR500 spot welder inverter model, the CR300 and a CM253 aluminium/mig braise unit. All of these machines are able to handle all applications, including the latest generation boron steel.

Crypton Technology

Crypton Technology will be showing products from its five brands: Crypton, Dieseltune, Wheelforce, Traction Chargers and Autodiagnos.

The stand will feature the full range of emission testers, intelligent diagnostic tools, brake testing equipment and Crypton’s new tyre changing and wheel balancing range.

The 800 series diagnostic workstations will be on display, incorporating the Codex 4000 software programme with comprehensive vehicle information to allow first time fixes, ranging from simple fault code reading to detailed component location and measurement information.

Dieseltune will be showing the DX211, digital smoke meter, which features Bluetooth technology and a new easy to use software programme.

Hofmann Megaplan

Hofmann Megaplan will be displaying its range of premium specification tyre equipment, including the Megamount 701 DLX tyre changer with 24” clamping, and the Megaspin 800 RMS wheel balancer with diagnostic capability for tyre uniformity.

Jubilee Clips

Jubilee will be showing a selection of striking counter/wall mounted clip dispensers, designed to provide a powerful point-of-sale message in either garage or retail applications. The newly launched Smart Dispenser just right for a trade counter or for use as a stock dispenser, will also be on display.

Karcher UK Ltd

Karcher, the world’s largest manufacturer of cleaning machines will be launching a new range of commercial pressure washers, the eco-line.

Lucas Oils

Octane Booster and Upper Cylinder Lubricant were fast action additives introduced last year. New greases, oils, additives and other car care products are about to reach the market and will be shown at ATS.

Maha UK

Maha will be exhibiting its range of vehicle lifts and service equipment for truck and car workshops. The company can offer a complete workshop design and a turn key operation. It will also be demonstrating the MAHA Eurosystem Brake Tester for both cars and trucks with more than 300 now installed in commercial workshops and VOSA test stations.

NGK

NGK will be highlighting significant changes in spark plug technology and pointing to its own engineering expertise. The company will also place major emphasis on glow plugs together with product displays of Lambda sensors and other emissions components.

Omitec

OmiSonic is the latest diagnostic tool from Omitec. It allows ultrasound diagnostics into a variety of applications including leak detection of electrical, air, water, oil, exhaust and mechanical systems.

Pico Technology

Pico Technology will be showcasing its multi-award winning oscilloscope diagnostics kit. Based around the Picoscope software and information suite, the kit facilitates the testing of virtually every electrical component and circuit found on a vehicle.

Also on display will be the First Look Engine Diagnostic Sensor. The sensor offers a fast and accurate method to diagnose automotive engine problems such as burnt valves, bad injectors and other performance problems without major disassembly of the engine.

Premier Diagnostics

Premier Diagnostics will be showing its complete range of four gas analyser and cable-less smokemeters. The elite and DSD2 range of products together with the new socio range of OBD testers will also be on display.

Primalec

Primalec will be launching additions to the Glo-Leak range of uv-flourescent leak detectors for air conditioning systems along with a brand new 24-page catalogue featuring and extensive range of leak detection and air conditioning servicing products.

Other new products include Primalec drip guard, tamper guard and AC Diagnostics, a hand held device for fast diagnosis of problems with air conditioning systems.

Pro-Align

Each hour on the hour ATS visitors can expect a demonstration of the Hunter digital imaging alignment system – from measurement to adjustment in minutes. Pro-Align demonstrates how workshops can increase their own profitability through wheel alignment.

Also on stand will be the Pro-Align 900, one of the aligner range displayed, plus the unique Hunter vibration control system – a unit to help resolve all those tyre servicing comebacks.

Prosol UK

This year’s Prosol stand will feature many new products including expanding lighting board, battery driven warning beacon and stainless steel radius plated.

It will also be launching a new derivative of its fuel retriever unit, which will enable almost all situations to be covered from simple retrieval via the system fuel tank filler to more complex withdrawal via the vehicle delivery system.

Ravaglioli

The Italian garage equipment manufacturer will be exhibiting its range of innovative wheel-balancers for cars and trucks, including computerised wheel-alignment. Equipment for MOT testing is also available.

Redashe

Redashe will be launching the Sagola spraygun range, together with two other product lines, the Drester spray gun cleaner and the Fusor range of adhesive. Sagola sprayguns are ergonomically designed and incorporate several significant features aimed at providing ease of use and unmatched paint finishes and levels of transfer efficiency.

The sprayguns are designed with a single spindle, reducing maintenance and the number of spare parts required for servicing. This design also makes it easier to clean the gun after use.

Snap-On Tools

Snap-On will demonstrate its latest diagnostic products and support packages on its stand, where the theme will be ‘diagnostics by design’.

The main attraction will be the Snap-on Scanner, the versatile diagnostic tool, which recently recorded its 10,000th sale in the UK and has recently been enhanced with a series of major upgrades.

Visitors to the stand will be able to try out the new software platform, PVCI (programmable vehicle communication information system), which allows Scanner customers to update the latest manufacturers information directly from their Snap-On dealer’s van.

Stanners Equipment

Stanners Equipment will have a whole range of bodyshop equipment on show, including spray booths, infra-red, the latest technology in inverter spot and pulse mig brazing as well as vehicle lifts, platform lifts, spraygun cleaners and paper compactors. There will be live demonstrations on the new inverter spot and mig brazing welders.

Sun Diagnostics

Sun Diagnostics will be unveiling its latest subscription upgrade bundle for Modis, the standalone diagnostic and information system aimed at providing a complete diagnostic solution for any UK garage or bodyshop.

The new SIA 3000 four-channel labscope designed to provide the modern technician with a means of diagnosing and pinpointing faults on modern ignition systems, will also be on display for the first time.

Training is a major area of emphasis for Sun in the year ahead and visitors to the stand will have the opportunity to examine and sign up for the current training syllabus.

Weber Hydraulik

Weber Hydraulik will be showcasing its range of trolleys, jacks, presses, axle stands, wheel dollies, engine cranes and jacking beams at the show.

The company will be launching a new four-tonne jacking beam and a new portable single post lift on its stand.
