Motorama deal is completed

Pentagon Group has officially purchased Whitehead Rochdale, the dealership formerly known as Motorama. The deal, worth over £1.45m, took 14 months to complete.

The process was initiated in February 2004 when Pentagon bought a 17% shareholding through majority shareholder Vauxhall. Negotiations to acquire the balance were opened in December 2004 and finalised in February 2005, with the transfer of all employees to Pentagon Rochdale from April 6, 2005.

Andrew Marlow, Pentagon Group regional director says: “We worked extremely hard to turn this site into a profit-making business since we first entered into negotiations with Vauxhall.

“This could not have been achieved without the drive of the management team and the commitment of the Rochdale staff.”
