RMI appoints former RAC marketer

The Retail Motor Industry Federation (RMI) has appointed Gary Elliott to the new role of head of marketing and communication, as part of the future development strategy for the organisation.

Elliott will report to Beryl Walsh-Atkins, director of marketing and membership. He was formerly the RAC's head of brand and marketing communication, and was responsible for their brand repositioning in 2003. He is working on a similar brief at the RMI.
