DCS Group, the international IT solutions company, has announced a trading profit of £1.5m (2003: £0.7m) from revenues of £42.2m.

After amortisation of goodwill, the operating loss for the year fell to £0.4m compared to £3.6m last year.

Trading profits for DCS Automotive was up 40% to £1.4m, while overall net debt was reduced by £1.8m.

Colin Amies, DCS Group chairman, says: “We expect that 2005 will see a further improvement in our performance; the first quarter of this year has seen good trading levels in line with our expectations.

“We have excellent market positions in both automotive transport and logistics supported by the stability of our international presence.”
