Volvo Car Corporation has appointed Fredril Arp as its new president and CEO, with effect from October 1.

Currently president and CEO at Trellborg AB, Arp will succeed Hans-Oloy Olsson who will become chairman of the board.

Mark Fields executive vice president, Premier Automotive Group and Ford of Europe, says: "Arp's challenge is to lead the further growth of the Volvo business. Arp has an impressive track record in sales and manufacturing and I am delighted he has agreed to accept this challenge. I look forward to welcoming him to Volvo and to Ford Motor Company."

  • Kingsley expands corporate team Kingsley Motor Company, the Volvo dealership, has appointed Stacey Kiley as its new corporate sales executive for the South, looking after areas including Reading, Maidenhead and Bracknell.

    Kiley has been with Volvo for two years and previously worked in the telecommunications industry.
