MVRA founder and chief executive Mike Monaghan has appointed a managing director in order to allow him to concentrate on promoting the organization to insurers and new members.

Adrian Bond has joined the Blackburn-based company. Bond has 18 months motor finance experience gained in a number of roles. Most recently he was divisional managing director at auto insurance and marketing consultant Lumley Auto Ltd in Coventry. Prior to that, he held management positions at General Electric, Pendragon and Hartwell.

Monaghan was MVRA managing director until he completed a management buyout in February. He will now concentrate on a strategic role: “I’ll be working to increase the profile and performance of MVRA, ensuring it becomes the trade body of choice for UK repairers,” he says.
