A new course designed to help franchise dealers maximise car sales in the rapidly growing Motability market has been launched by Network Automotive.

Called "Maximising Growth and Profit for Motability Dealers", it is aimed mainly at sales staff who want to deliver additional, profitable business to their dealership.

However, sales administrators are also invited to attend as the course covers how to reduce costly mistakes in the vehicle registration and invoicing process.

David Shaw, training and development manager at Network, says: "At the end of the course delegates will have a thorough understanding of where, when and how to market Motability in their local area.

"Motability sales make up around 6% of the new car market and the fleet size is forecast to grow to 450,000 vehicles, an increase of 12.5% within 2 years. This represents a major business opportunity."

The course schedule is:

  • 29th June 2005 Gloucester, Gloucestershire
  • 20th July 2005 Leeds, W. Yorkshire
  • 28th July 2005 Preston, Lancashire
  • 10th August 2005 Durham, Tyne and Wear
  • 17th August 2005 Dunstable, Bedfordshire
  • 24th August 2005 Preston, Lancashire
  • 14th September 2005 Studley, Warwickshire
  • 28th September 2005 East Midlands Airport, Derbyshire

The course lasts one day and costs £125.00 plus VAT including lunch and refreshments.
