Renault has announced that Georges Douin, executive vice president, product and strategic planning and international operations, and a member of the Renault Group executive committee will retire from the company on Friday.

Jean-Marc Lepue, Renault’s vice president, public affairs will also retire on Friday.

After Doiun’s retirement the international operation department will report directly to Carlos Ghosn, president and CEO of Renault.

Patrick Pelata has been appointed executive vice president and joins the group executive committee. Pelata will have direct responsibility for the strategic planning department, product planning department, Renault Sport technologies division, vehicle program departments and the e-vehicle project department.

Luc-Alexandre Menard, a member of the Renault management committee has been appointed Renault’s senior vice president, public affairs. He will also co-ordinate the group’s international departments.
