Charvills has moved to its new puropose-built Vauxhall dealership in Bishop’s Stortford, not far from the site it has occupied for the last five years.

Charvills’ new dealership in Stanstead Road now occupies a modern, three-storey building containing a Vauxhall showroom, servicing department, used car centre and underground parking for customers and represents a substantial investment by the family-owned dealer group, said managing director John Charvill.

"The move to new premises is part of our long term commitment to selling GM brands and was planned almost from the day we came to Bishop’s Stortford. We hope that this will herald a successful new phase for Charvills as a major employer and in time create new job opportunities in the Bishop’s Stortford area."

In addition to servicing Vauxhalls and other makes, Charvills will become an authorised service agent for Saab.
