The achievements of Essex-based retail motor industry apprentices working with sector trainer ReMIT have been recognised at a double awards ceremony.

ReMIT, the motor trade's training business, is the training arm of the Retail Motor Industry Federation (RMI). At any one time thousands of young people will be working towards qualifications on ReMIT-run courses.

ReMIT learners were honoured in the ReMIT Essex 2005 Awards, as well as the Institute of the Motor Industry (IMI) County of Essex Membership Association Awards.

Stephen Ramsay, ReMIT managing director, said: “These young people have chosen a career in the motor industry, and they have thrived. Their achievements have been justifiably rewarded.”
