Corvette has announced that its new hand built Z06 will go on sale throughout Europe in December.

The model is fitted with a 7.0 litre V8 engine producing 511bhp and was developed alongside the C6.R racing car that won at the Le Mans 24 hours race this year. It achieves a top speed of 198mph and a 0- 62mph time of 3.9 seconds.

The price of the Corvette Z06 in the UK is expected to be in the region of £60,000.
