A multi-million pound supply contract has been signed between Kent-based refurbishment centre Ambrosetti and Unipart Automotive.

The deal was finalized with the support of local branches Brown Brothers in Gillingham and Partco Autoparts in Ramsgate, which have achieved consistently high order fill levels of 99.6% and 100% to Ambrosetti.

The extended supply agreement, says Unipart, is the result of its high service levels along with the close collaboration with paint supplier Standox’s technical support team, providing a competitive edge to the contract.

The award reflects Unipart Automotive’s ability to meet Ambrosetti’s needs as well as the requirements of all its customers by focusing on its core values of range, availability, innovation, knowledge and value for money.

Owen Stafford, sales director of Brown Brothers (part of Unipart Automotive), says: “Our strategy is to deliver outstanding customer service and support. The further extension by Ambrosetti of our long-established relationship is testament to our customer-focused commitment.”

Unipart Automotive is also expanding its range of workshop and bodyshop consumables this summer, providing garages and repairers with access to 900 additional branded products.

The new products join existing lines within the Unipart portfolio, creating a range that covers additives, brake cleaners, lubrication, anti-freeze, granules, screen wash, paper products and seat covers.

Adrian Clarke, brand manager, consumables for Unipart Automotive, says: “Our aim is to provide the most up-to-date range of consumables at value for money prices that are available locally from our nationwide network of branches. Our customers from the workshop, crash repair and industrial sectors can all benefit from an extended choice of popular and innovative lines that will help them run their businesses profitably.”
