  • Andy Waite has been appointed European product manager for non-rotating electrics at Remy Automotive. He is responsible for marketing products such as steering racks and pumps, brake callipers and ignition distributors.   • Benfield Motor Group has recruited Gail Storr as marketing executive. She will be responsible for managing press advertising for the group’s 26 franchised dealerships, as well as direct marketing and sales promotions.

    Nigel Wright has joined Seat UK as business sales manager. New Zealander Wright previously worked in Australia where he was national business sales manager for the Alfa Romeo, Citroën, Kia and Fiat brands. At Seat, his team is responsible for sales to all fleet, corporate and business users.

  • Chris Jones has transferred to the role of Smart sales specialist at Hughes of Beaconsfield. Jones, who previously worked in corporate sales, has worked for Hughes motor retail group for nine years.

  • Olympian Automotive in Salisbury has added to its Renault and Nissan sales teams with the recruitment of Dale Johnson, Gary Little and Oliver Worts. Olympian now employs 230 staff at its five multi-franchised showrooms.

  • Providing training for manufacturer-approved bodyshops is one remit of Adrian Peck, recently appointed manager of the Accident Repair Specialized Services Division of Carter & Carter. His team develops specific and branded training programmes.
