Fleet and fuel management company Arval has awarded remarketing company Manheim a three-year contract to sell more than 60,000 vehicles.

Under the arrangement, Manheim will provide Arval with a full logistics service, vehicle inspections and vehicle refurbishment.

Sales will include physical auctions and remote bidders will also be given live access via the Manheim Simulcast service.

Arval will also use Manheim’s new ‘bid or buy now’ service, called CyberLot Plus, another channel that caters for online bidding.

The two companies have plans to launch a new driver and affinity sales scheme early this year for selected vehicles as they come off contract.

Arval’s head of remarketing, Mike Curtis, said: "We have a number of plans for remarketing our vehicles and are very happy to continue working with Manheim to ensure we achieve them."
