The Retail Motor Industry Federation has settled out of court with Denver Rollings, dealer principal of Peugeot outlet Peter Nash Cars (Hereford).

Rollings had claimed that the RMI was in breach of contract for failing to maintain a free legal service for its members. Both parties were due to appear at Hereford County Court shortly before Christmas.

However, a joint statement on behalf of the RMI and Rollings states: “Mr Rollings and RMI have reached an amicable agreement with regard to the legal issues between them. The agreement is on the basis that there is no breach of contract or contravention of membership terms by either party.”
