Pop-up car menu makes buying easier

Trade-only remarketing website is looking to recruit 100 car dealers to take part in a pilot project to test a new buying and selling tool.

It has developed a downloadable piece of software that notifies buyers about vehicles available “within seconds of them being advertised by the seller”.

The software installs a toolbar on the user’s desktop, which notifies via a pop-up whenever another user of the Autotrade-mail website lists a car that meets their pre-defined criteria. Autotrade-mail spent 18 months developing this sales product.
