The company, which is an European distributor for Garrett turbochargers, is claiming a world first in permitting customers to select custom-built turbos and choosing modifications for added performance over the internet.
Brian Owen, managing director, says: “It made sense for us to develop our website to include a direct selling function and easy step-by-step guides for ordering and fitting of these units.”
Supporting the online information, the company provides telephone assistance during office hours.
“We are renowned for looking after our customers, so we do not employ a telesales team. Our business is too technical for that and whether our customer is a manufacturer, dealer, motorsport team or private individual, they will receive the support and technical knowledge that is so important, and they can speak directly to me or our engineers and technicians,” says Owen.
