Open to all SMART repairers, the new membership will offer marketplace credibility and a support infrastructure.
MVRA managing director Adrian Bond says: "While SMART repairers are now widely recognised as a vital part of the UK vehicle repair industry, the current level of ongoing business support they receive is below par compared to the support offered to mainstream repairers.
"MVRA’s new SMART membership will fill this vital gap and support these businesses both in terms of advice and on how to run a profitable business."
In developing the new membership, MVRA worked closely with Skipton-based Ayce Systems, a key supplier of SMART repair systems which operates one of the UK’s leading SMART training centres.
The new membership, which costs less than £1 per day, is available for all types of SMART repairers from paintless dent removal experts to alloy wheel repair specialists. Once accepted, they will be supported by MVRA’s team of industry specialists.
