Peugeot sales increased by 1.3% in September compared to the same period last year.

The 207 was the best selling Peugeot in September. Total sales in the first four months of this year were recorded at 16,000 units, an increase of 4% when compared to the first four months of 206 sales back in 1998/99.

The carmaker said: "With the introduction next month of the Peugeot 207 GT THP 150 powered by the jointly designed PSA Peugeot Citroen/BMW Group turbo charged petrol engine, and further new 207 derivatives to be launched next year, Peugeot’s small car sales are set to grow even further."
