The Transport and General Workers confirmed the decision this morning.
A spokesman for the T&G said he would be meeting with Jaguar at a committee on Monday and no further statement would be issued until after that meeting.
Jaguar wanted staff to take a two year pay freeze, cut shifts and increase employee pension contributions.
Ford is currently reviewing its Premier Automotive Group and has been looking for a buyer for Jaguar for the past two months.
