Flexi-Hire, the new vehicle rental firm, has added three Toyota Prius hybrid vehicles to its 150-strong fleet.

Flexi-Hire, said: "We have had a large number of people specifically asking for hybrid vehicles as people become more environmentally aware and keen to try alternative types of car.

"The Prius is the market leader in this field and these cars will enable us to break into a new market, educate people about the benefits of this new motoring technology and position us at the forefront of the vehicle rental industry."
