Frank Finch, former head of the RMIF motorcycle retailer and ride training divisions, is the new content editor of Autoretailing, the European dealer convention staged by AM and the RMI National Franchised Dealers Association.

Finch joins at an exciting time for the two-day convention, now in its third year. The 2007 event, again sponsored by Experian, will have a new dynamic set up for the first day, which will include a mix of conference–style morning with discussion groups in the afternoon.

Delegates will have an opportunity to put across views on a number of issues facing the industry, with the conclusions fed back to the convention and to interested parties, such as Government, consumer groups and trade bodies.

Finch spent three years heading the RMIF’s motorcycle retailer division (2001 to 2004). During that period, membership grew by more than 35%. He was promoted to RMIF director of membership standards in 2005, leaving a year later to form his own consultancy.

“This is an industry I’m passionate about and want to contribute to,” Finch says.

Autoretailing is about sharing best practice in a retail environment that is constantly changing, helping to bring new ideas and strategies to market.”
