Ford’s revised C-Max will no longer be associated with the company’s Focus model whenit goes on sale next year.

In an announcement at the Bologna Motor Show this week, Stephen Odell, vice president of marketing, sales and service for Ford of Europe, said: “Although we originally launched this vehicle as the Focus C-Max, we have chosen to give the freshened model its own identity, similar to the S-Max.”

The C-Max from the show Ford has said it will feature a panoramic roof and an exterior design which will mimic the S-Max.

Detailed information for the revised model will be available closer to launch next year.
