Skoda January sales rise

Skoda achieved a total of 2,360 sales in January, a 13.3% rise in the same period last year.

The January results maintain momentum from 2005, which saw a record year for Škoda business sales with a 23.9% increase in a market up by just 9.7%, equating to a total sales volume of 14,555.

Skoda also increased its fleet sales by 43.5%. Martin Burke, head of business sales for Skoda UK, said: “The launch of the new Octavia is proving a success and the Roomster will set new standards for comfort and practicality. Our dealer network is key to our growth and they are telling us that the product and brand are right.”
