There are three models and four engines to choose from. All of them include an automatic electric metal folding roof.
The entry level Astra TwinTop 1.6 16v includes four airbags, alarm, CD player, electric windows, electrically adjustable and heated door mirrors and air conditioning.
The Sport model, priced from £17,795, comes with 16-inch alloy wheels, front fog lights, trip computer, steering wheel mounted audio controls and remote control roof operation. The 1.6 16v Twinport and Sport models can be specified with the new 1.8 16v VVT 138bhp engine and the 1.9CDTi 148bhp diesel.
Topping off the range is the Design, available from £18,995. Customers can choose from a 1.8 16v VVT, a 1.9CDTi 148bhp turbodiesel and a 2.0 Turbo 198bhp engine on the range-topping spec. Standard equipment includes: 17-inch 10-spoke alloys, sport switch and a sports steering wheel, rain-sensitive windscreen wipers, anti-dazzle rear view mirror, automatic lighting control and a windbreak.
Added options include a ‘saddle’ leather trim for £750 and Vauxhall’s ‘adaptive forward lighting’ system for £750.
