Its arrival is the site’s second motor retail presence, following the opening of Doncaster Audi last August. Pentagon Toyota’s building was designed by Space Projects in conjunction with architect RED4. The 21,269sq ft dealership is joined by a 11,894sq ft bodyshop.
Managing director Steve Burrows says the property’s location, and ability to meet Toyota’s standards, was key in relocating the business.
“It is not only the quality of the scheme that attracted our attention, but its location just north of central Doncaster and its frontage on to a major arterial route,” adds Burrows.
The group has other Toyota franchises at Barnsley and Rotherham.
One dealer unit is still available at Quest Park. Sladen-Aston hopes Toyota and Audi will act as a ‘beacon’.
