Companies have been warned to plan effectively for vehicle movements following the death of a construction worker at Toyota’s plant in Burnaston, Derbyshire.

Magistrates fined Combined Associates and CA Blackwell £40,000 for safety offences that led to the fatal accident in August 2003. Bernard Place was crushed by construction plant while working on the construction of additional parking at the assembly plant.
