Ford has added a new Fiesta trim to its range, which will include a package worth £800, featuring mobile phone, satellite navigation and music technology.

Ford has partnered itself with Vodafone for the Freedom model, which will see customers who sign a £25 a month contract deal with Vodafone, receive a G3 Nokia N70 phone, cradle and TomTom Mobile 5 satellite navigation unit.

The Freedom trim has 15-inch alloy wheels, heated body-coloured mirrors, body-coloured door and tailgate handles, front fog lights, 'Freedom' badge on the tailgate and comes with a choice of 12 colours. It also has remote central double locking, remote tailgate release, electric front windows, rear spoiler, leather steering wheel with aluminium trim and silver trim on dashboard.

The new trim is available with a 1.25 or 1.4 engine, three- or five- door versions and is priced from £8,845.

Mark Ovenden, marketing director, Ford of Britain, said: "Mobile phone use has increased dramatically in Britain in the last five years and this generation wants connectivity in all areas of their life.”

There will be 2,500 Fiesta Freedom models available on Saturday throughout the UK.
