autoretailing 06 is a unique opportunity to get an injection of fresh strategic thinking, plus some 'quick wins' you can take away and apply in your own business to start selling more cars, retaining more customers and increasing profitability immediately.

The convention takes place on June 7 and 8 at the International Convention Centre in Birmingham. Brought to the industry by AM magazine and the Retail Motor Industry Federation, it is dedicated to helping pro-active motor retailers become even more successful.

Day 2 of autoretailing 06 includes a number of best practice management workshops, split into three 'learning streams' - general management, sales and aftersales. Delegates can attend up to five workshops during the day, and can in effect construct their own training programme depending on the particular challenges they face in their organisations.

Topics include improving your financial monitoring, recruiting, developing and retaining the best people, creating a performance-based culture in your dealership; how to close more sales enquiries, using the internet to sell more cars, improving the performance of sales teams; improving service and parts profitability, selling service to the owners of older used cars, and managing your parts manager.
